Job Description
- Provide Counseling Services to the students through routine interviews, individual/group counseling, crisis counseling/management, and special sessions.
- Conduct Group Guidance Activities for all students via the Homeroom Program.
- Implement testing services in the absence of a Psychometrician and supervise testing programs yearly.
- Refer students in need of professional help and offer recommendations.
- Maintain comprehensive student records.
- Disseminate information to parents, teachers, and others to support educational, career, and personal-social development.
- Orient students, teachers, and parents on the college’s objectives, services, and activities.
- Act as a consultant for parents, teachers, and students.
- Evaluate SDWC Services and Programs, including Faculty Evaluations.
- Organize training programs for students and maintain professional affiliations.
- Perform other duties to support the College’s mission and vision.
