Job Description:

• Maintain and update a database of relevant permits, documents and certifications
• Act as de facto, and Official Safety Officer for the respective sites within the areas-as defined by relevant local organizations/ government
• Establish standards related to Health, Safety and Environment on the sites by implementing the DB Schenker standards and/or IMS Standard in all aspects relevant to the sites
• Providing Support in monitoring, review, implementation and audit of logistics operations on general and operational compliance policies and procedures.
• Conducting and coordinating regular onsite internal audits
• Provide support in the implementation of ISO standards, policies and procedures
• Coordinate QHSSE element (RCA, non-conformance reporting, document and record retention)
• Create internal and external audit reports, as necessary
• Represent the Corporate QHSSE team in all audit review conducted internally or by any external agency/customer
• Coordinate with the Corporate Security Assistant Manager for all matters related to site security and process, identifying pain points and recommending areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Good Communication skills, both oral and written
• Proficient with MS Office Applications (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Able to communicate and report to external auditors, customers and government agencies
• Bachelor’s/College Degree in any related course, preferably in Industrial Engineering
• At least 2 years of experience for a similar role in either a manufacturing or logistic industry
• Experience in coordinating with government agencies and authorities for any security related incident
• Should have attended the mandatory 40-hours basic OSH Training course + additional advanced/specialized training course relevant to logistic/warehousing/ manufacturing industry
