Job Description
· Recruitment and Selection: Overseeing the recruitment process, from job posting to interviewing and hiring candidates. This involves working with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, writing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, and ensuring fair and legal hiring practices.
· Employee Onboarding: Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, which may include orientation sessions, paperwork completion, and introducing them to company policies, culture, and procedures.
· Employee Relations: Managing employee relations by addressing concerns, conflicts, and grievances. This involves fostering a positive work environment and mediating disputes when necessary.
· Performance Management: Implementing performance management systems to monitor employee performance, provide feedback, set goals, and conduct performance evaluations. This also includes identifying areas for improvement and providing support and development opportunities.
· Training and Development: Developing and implementing training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. This could include organizing workshops, seminars, and online courses, as well as identifying external training opportunities.
· Compensation and Benefits: Managing employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, bonus plans, health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. This involves staying updated on compensation trends and ensuring competitive pay and benefits packages.
· Policy Development and Implementation: Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and regulations. This includes updating employee handbooks, enforcing policies, and ensuring consistency in their application.
· Legal Compliance: Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels. This involves staying informed about changes in legislation, conducting audits, and providing guidance to management and employees.
· Employee Engagement and Retention: Implementing initiatives to promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. This may include conducting surveys, organizing events, and implementing recognition programs.
