Job Description
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven HR intern to assist our HR department with administrative and HR-related tasks. The HR intern will be responsible for updating employee absence records, filing HR documents, conducting background checks on candidates, and making recommendations to improve HR policies. Additionally, the intern should be able to draft employee communications to notify staff of policy and procedural changes.
Responsibilities:
- Updating company databases with new employee contact information and employment details.
- Screening potential employees’ resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates for job vacancies.
- Organizing interviews with shortlisted candidates.
- Posting job advertisements to job boards and social media platforms.
- Removing job advertisements once vacancies are filled.
- Preparing and sending offer and rejection letters or emails to candidates.
- Responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or studying towards a degree in human resource management or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Philippine labor laws.
- Familiarity with using social media sites for recruitment and marketing initiatives.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Detail-oriented.
