Job Description
As an Incident Manager, you will play a crucial role in our organization by overseeing and managing the resolution of incidents and minimizing the impact on our operations. You will be responsible for coordinating and collaborating with various teams to ensure efficient incident management and timely restoration of services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the incident response team, ensuring effective incident resolution and communication.
- Develop and implement incident management processes and procedures to optimize response and minimize disruptions.
- Ensure incidents are properly categorized, prioritized, and escalated according to the severity and impact on the business.
- Coordinate with technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors to identify root causes, implement preventive measures, and reduce the likelihood of recurring incidents.
- Conduct post-incident reviews to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in incident management or related roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly assess and address complex incidents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and incident management best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple incidents simultaneously.
