Job Description
Essential duties
The role will be assigned the following responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound customer calls with a required minimum number of calls daily.
- Generate sales leads for the New Accounts Sales Teams.
- Using internet and social media to research on accounts and identify key stakeholders (CEO, IT, Finance, HR, Admin, Procurement & Operations).
- Understand customer issues and requirements to recommend a solution.
- Respond to customer queries professionally and promptly.
- Increase sales by up-selling and cross-selling.
- Maintain strong knowledge of company’s products and services offering.
- Maintain understanding of promotions and campaigns run by the business unit.
- Qualify prospects into leads and assist Account Managers to secure appointments.
- Use Salesforce.com to document all customer call activities.
- Ensure the database is well maintained and updated.
- Perform all administrative and ad-hoc work as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- College/bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Intermediate Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Must have direct/indirect selling experience to new business accounts in a hunter role.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com.
- Be available to carry out duties during Singapore business hours.
