Job Description
Job Objective:
The Warehouse Inventory Staff (WIS) is responsible for delivering high-quality and efficient services to both internal and external clients of the DDS Department. This role involves performing accurate and timely inventory counts as well as thorough reconciliation of any discrepancies identified.
Key Functions:
- Collaborate with the Inventory Officer or Supervisor to secure inventory count schedules.
- Conduct regular inventory counting procedures.
- Investigate and report discrepancies.
- Verify that item locations align with registered data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures.
- Train warehouse staff on inventory management best practices.
- Support the warehouse team with various operational tasks as needed.
