Job Description
Requirements:
- Graduate of any bachelors degree, medical course is an advantage
- Must have an understanding of medical supply items
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must be able to communicate clearly and precisely
- Must have working knowledge in excel including methods to organize data to perform job responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops mechanism to establish and maintain levels and related controls of supplies and equipment for the designated location(s).
- Responsible for purchasing as necessary, utilizing purchase orders approved by the facility manager and receiving confirmation of orders received at the location for accuracy and completeness.
- Establishes and maintains stock levels in all areas, with the cooperation of staff members.
- Maintains knowledge base and utilization of contract pricing. Does comparative pricing on suppliers at least monthly to secure best pricing.
- Audits and reviews onsite supply organization for better supply tracking and prevention of fraud, waste, and abuse.
- Creates an inventory/supply list per location to understand supply needs.
