Job Description
City Advertising Ventures Corporation is currently seeking an IT Officer to join our team. As an IT Officer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and network servers.
Your main duties will include installing and upgrading computer components, software, and network devices. You will also troubleshoot hardware and software errors, document problems and resolutions, prioritize tasks, and assess the impact of issues.
In addition, you will provide documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing new or upgraded IT infrastructure. You will perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
As the IT Officer, you will lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, ensuring timely resolution of all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems with minimal disruptions. You will also be responsible for capacity management, storage planning, and network performance.
Regular monitoring and reporting of system performance, utilization, and efficiency will be part of your responsibilities. Any other assigned functions will also be expected to be performed as needed.
