Job Description:
Remote management and troubleshooting of IT networks aboard vessels:
- Management of Wide-area Network (WAN) and satellite communication equipment, as well as Local-area Network (LAN).
Direct communication with the captain and crew for temporary response and recovery operations.
Installation and kitting of PCs aboard the vessel.
Travel to ports visited by the vessel.
Temporary response and recovery for communication disruptions.
Troubleshooting software & application update issues.
Monitoring of communication systems and network conditions, and troubleshooting.
Collaborative troubleshooting with AP providers.
