Job Description
An IT Security Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining effective security measures to protect an organization’s computer systems and networks. They identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to prevent unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security incidents.
The key responsibilities of an IT Security Administrator include:
- Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Monitoring network traffic and system logs to identify and respond to any suspicious activity.
- Conducting regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Managing access controls and user permissions.
