Job Description
An IT Service Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of IT services within an organization. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strong communication abilities.
The main responsibilities of an IT Service Delivery Manager include:
- Managing the IT service desk and ensuring timely resolution of support tickets and service requests.
- Collaborating with various departments and stakeholders to understand their IT needs and priorities.
- Developing and implementing service improvement plans to enhance the quality and efficiency of IT services.
- Monitoring and measuring service performance against agreed-upon metrics and SLAs.
- Identifying areas for improvement in IT processes, tools, and systems.
- Leading and mentoring a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support.
