Job Description
As an IT Service Desk Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring IT incidents and service requests are promptly addressed and resolved. You will be responsible for triaging incoming tickets, dispatching them to the appropriate IT teams, and ensuring timely communication with end-users regarding their inquiries.
You will work closely with IT technicians, ensuring they have the necessary information and resources to address and resolve issues. Your excellent organizational and communication skills will be vital in coordinating and prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage and assign incoming IT tickets to the appropriate IT teams.
- Coordinate and communicate with end-users to gather necessary details for issue resolution.
- Ensure prompt and accurate logging of ticket progress and updates.
- Monitor ticket queues and address urgent issues promptly.
- Escalate tickets to appropriate teams as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar IT service desk or dispatcher role.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Technical knowledge and understanding of IT processes.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITSM tools.
