Job Description
The IT Service Desk Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT service desk team. They provide technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring that all inquiries and issues are addressed effectively and in a timely manner. The manager is also responsible for developing and implementing service desk processes and procedures, as well as monitoring and analyzing service desk performance metrics.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of service desk professionals and providing coaching and guidance as needed.
- Responding to customer inquiries and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
- Developing and implementing service desk processes and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitoring service desk performance metrics and making recommendations for improvements.
- Coordinating with other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement.
