Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Accounts Payable Officer. This role will involve assisting with the management of the accounts payable process, including processing and recording invoices, reconciling statements, and assisting with month-end reporting.
The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A basic understanding of accounting principles and experience with accounting software is required.
Responsibilities:
- Process and record invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing activities
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records
