Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Junior Sous Chef at our Chinese restaurant. As a Junior Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations.
Your main responsibilities will include assisting in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the highest quality of dishes are served to our valued customers. You will also be responsible for supervising and training other kitchen staff, ensuring cleanliness and food safety standards are met, and maintaining inventory levels.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Chinese cuisine, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. You should possess excellent knife skills, a good understanding of flavors and ingredients used in Chinese cooking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
