Job Description
A Kitchen Manager oversees the daily operations of a commercial kitchen, ensuring the smooth running of all food preparation and cooking processes. They are responsible for managing kitchen staff, maintaining quality control, and implementing food safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Ensuring all food prepared meets quality standards and follows recipes.
- Managing inventory and purchasing supplies.
- Monitoring kitchen equipment and coordinating repairs or maintenance.
- Implementing and enforcing hygiene and safety regulations.
- Developing menus and working with chefs to create new dishes.
