Job Description
- Overseeing kitchen staff and full operation of the kitchen.
- Keeping records of expenditure, sales figures, and employee performance.
- Evaluating the supply and availability of the stocks.
- Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage.
- Monitoring shelve stocks, quality control, and compliance of SOP’s.
- Motivating employees to achieve targets.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports.
- Compiles the weekly menus given by the Chef for approval of the General Manager.
- Ensure all kitchen staff are properly trained and are following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ensure that recipes and food preparation instructions are followed correctly.
- Assist in training new staff members.
