The mission of the Service Desk Specialist is to be the first point of call when our clients and/or Service Desk Engineers have a technical issue. As a Service Desk Specialist, you are expected to juggle many tasks simultaneously without dropping the ball.
The essence of this role is to ensure client satisfaction. As the Service Desk Specialist, you will be accountable for client outcomes and your team’s execution.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Analyse reactive service requests and look for improvements.
- Developing and maintaining technical knowledge of client’s environments
- Ensure Client Satisfaction at all times
- Provide support with Networking
- Timely Software updates
- Manage and monitor Backups
- Resolving Storage issues
- Maintenance of servers
YOU NEED:
- Excellent English comms – verbal and written
- 5 years of similar experience – preferably MSP
- At least 3 IT-related certs
- Backup and Storage experience
- Server maintenance
