Job Description
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, Food Tech or Food Sciences
- At least 6 months of working experience as a Laboratory Assistant/Technician, preferably acquired in a food manufacturing facility or the company
Job Description:
- Performs microbiological analysis of finished goods, line and environmental samples, raw materials and water analyis. This includes execution of Good Labortaory Practices (GLP).
- Inspects and evaluates Delivery receipts, and Request for Analyis (RFA) for sending to other factory. Conducts samples swab tests, line samples, and environmental samples as per pathogen monitoring plan.
- Prepares and sterilizes media for microbiological analysis. Cotton-swabs, spoons, decontaminate incubated samples as well as positive control. In-charge of keeping stocks and issues when needed. Also sampling of Raw Materials. Determines ordering level and inventory level.
- Performs Internal Control Plan (ICP) of microbiological equipment and methods.
- Monitor supply of media and others chemicals.
- Maintains hygienic condition of the Micro Rooms Bacto A&B, including glasswares and Laboratory equipment. Ensures cleanliness and ordeliness of the working area.
- Participates in the Proficiency Tests conducted by the client whenever necessary.
