Job Description
A company, HCM Nexus Consulting Inc., is currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Layout Artist/Machine Operator to join our team. As a Layout Artist, you will work closely with the design and production teams to create visually appealing and professional layouts for various print and digital materials. Additionally, as a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment to ensure high-quality output.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and objectives
- Utilize design software to create layouts that adhere to brand guidelines
- Create and modify design elements, such as images and typography, to enhance visual appeal
- Ensure proper alignment and spacing of all design elements
- Operate printing equipment according to established procedures and quality standards
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal output
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime
Requirements:
- Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design guidelines
- Knowledge of printing processes and equipment operation
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients
