Job Description
Leasing Assistant Job Duties
- Providing information to clients about the leasing process, including showing available units and answering questions about rental rates and terms.
- Communicating with owners to coordinate lease signings, rent payments, maintenance requests, and other tasks related to managing rental units.
- Providing administrative support to property managers and leasing agents by scheduling showings, keeping records of communication with tenants, and updating databases with new listings or lease agreements.
- Coordinating with lawyers, real estate agents, and other third parties to handle legal issues such as evictions or lease disputes.
- Helping potential renters to apply for housing loans through banks or other lenders.
- Coordinating with management on tenant concerns or complaints.
- Provide information to prospective clients about the properties and the leasing process, sometimes showing the property.
- Update databases with new rental agreements.
