Job Description
Shanhai Map, a reputable company in the legal industry, is currently seeking a Legal Associate to join our team. We are looking for an individual who can provide expert legal advice and guidance on various legal matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Offering expert legal advice and guidance on a broad spectrum of legal matters, such as contracts, regulatory compliance, labor laws, and other relevant areas for the company and its clientele.
- Conducting comprehensive legal due diligence for various business transactions to ensure compliance with Philippine laws, regulations, and industry-specific standards.
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal documents to protect the firm’s interests and ensure compliance with local laws.
- Monitoring changes in Philippine laws and regulations, assessing their implications on the company and clients, and providing strategies for maintaining compliance.
- Assisting clients by addressing their legal inquiries and providing insights into legal implications concerning their business operations and strategic decisions.
- Identifying and evaluating potential legal risks, collaborating with internal teams to develop proactive strategies for risk mitigation.
- Conducting legal research to support decision-making, offering analysis and recommendations on legal issues and precedents within the Philippines.
- Supporting dispute resolution procedures, including negotiation, mediation, or litigation, and coordinating with external legal counsel when necessary.
