Position: Line Cook

Department: Operations – Back of the House

Job Description:

A line chef works on a variety of stations in a high volume kitchen environment. He is responsible for creating an exceptional culinary experience for the guests through preparation, cooking, and food presentation. He takes on a leadership role in the absence of the Head Chef and Sous Chef. The line chef must adhere to all sanitation regulations, handle and prepare food items and equipment correctly, and assist the Sous Chef in planning and preparing quality service for the food and beverage production department.

Qualifications:

• Willing to be assigned at Marilog
• High School Diploma and on-the-job training
• Certificate in Culinary Arts or a related area from a vocational or technical school
• Associate Degree from a community college in a food or cooking-related field
• Experience in a full-service restaurant is desired
• Has knowledge of standard cooking and grilling techniques.
• Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
• Solid references
• Flexible schedule
• Task-driven individual

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Php11,00.00 – Php11,500.00 per month
