Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for prepping ingredients and assembling dishes following the standardized recipes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing kitchen station before the start of meal service.
- Ensure all supplies needed for the night shift are available.
- Prep food for service.
- Clean and sanitize station before and after shift.
- Assist in unloading supplies and storing inventory.
- Turn off equipment and clean following standard procedures.
- Clean exhaust and remove grease build-up.
- Store food items properly and prepare production list.
- Coordinate with kitchen helper on stock thawing.
- Record spoilage and endorse concerns in the logbook.
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least college level
- 2-3 years experience in casual or fine dining restaurants
- Highly organized, works well under pressure
- Enthusiastic, attentive, fast learner
- Experience in sauté/wok section
