Job Description
- Oversee and manage the company’s trucking fleet, ensuring proper maintenance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the utilization of trucks and drivers.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
- Utilize route planning software and real-time tracking systems for efficient logistics operations.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of truck drivers.
- Monitor driver performance, adherence to schedules, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients.
- Analyze competitors and market conditions to develop effective client acquisition strategies.
- Identify and prioritize potential clients through various channels, including online research, industry events, and networking.
- Utilize lead generation tools and platforms to identify and qualify prospects.
