Job Description

The Logistics Officer liaises and coordinates with suppliers, forwarders, transporters, and warehouses on shipments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Register transit receiving of Purchase Orders in Sertica for all newly delivered spares in our hubs (stock point warehouses managed by our forwarding companies).
Regularly send weekly reports pertaining to vessel position lists to specific vendors.
Focus on cost-effective delivery, minimizing logistics costs by consolidating orders in key ports.
Review freight rates for air, sea, courier, and land.
Perform, organize, ship, and deliver goods worldwide in a smooth, timely, and cost-effective manner.
Prepare shipping documents and invoices as needed.
Notify the vessel, purchaser, Technical Superintendent, and the port agent of deliveries that have been arranged for upcoming calls.
Handle vessel’s stationery requisition, reviewing stationery requests from vessels and coordinating with the supplier to arrange deliveries.
Monitor the progress of open purchase orders, proactively communicate with suppliers to expedite order fulfillment, and ensure materials are delivered on schedule.
Prepare and deliver monthly reports for the department, presenting key findings and trends in a clear and concise manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Php26,00.00 – Php30,00.00 per month
