Job Description
- Manage communications among freight forwarders, trucking companies, and warehouse representatives.
- Check orders for data quality and completeness.
- Schedule orders against outstanding purchase orders.
- Monitor order fulfillment.
- Expedite urgent orders.
- Daily communication with sales and third party logistics providers.
- Navigate ERP system, while planning, to determine shipment needs.
- Handle incoming calls regarding shipment ETA’s, or complaints by customers due to shortages.
- Check inventory utilizing ERP to determine availability of request items.
