Overview

Logistics Specialist ensures that everything runs smoothly by coordinating with customers, providing precise instruction and details for drivers to follow along on their routes. He/she must ensure dispatch and deliveries are made precisely and on time.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures timely booking of shipment and deliveries.
• Maintains logistic records for proper monitoring.
• Prepares request for payment for the payables due to complete the deliveries of goods.
• Monitors deliveries and shipment until arrival of the goods at the store.
• Records dispatch information accordingly, such as vehicular plate no., name of driver, time and date of departure, and time of arrival.
• Relays all delivery instructions, protocols, and other support documents to the driver that are needed for the delivery.
• Collates all copies of served invoices from drivers and ensures that all necessary information is completely reflected in the documents such as reasons for returns if any, signatures, and date and time of returns and delivery.
• Coordinates deliveries to the stores.
• Serves as the point of contact for drivers. He/she must have all the information needed to make the deliveries.
• Makes sure that goods delivered to the Commissary are counted and checked completely to prevent problems or discrepancies to be discovered after accepting the orders.
• Ensures that dispatched goods will arrive in the store in good condition.
• Does amendments on delivery receipts upon confirmation of remaining stocks.
• Responsible for answering delivery concerns and clarifications. Does immediate remedial and resolution to prevent prolonging of problems.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Php14,00.00 – Php15,00.00 per month
