Job Description
Maintenance staff must understand customer service and keep assigned office building in a clean and orderly condition. They must work successfully with fellow employees and others while understanding and following both verbal and written instructions. Basic communication skills are required to explain how to complete tasks and understand instructions.
Principle Duties
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures. Stop risky behavior of others and oneself.
- Perform repetitive tasks.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules.
- Take direction and respond to supervision.
- Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
- Present a professional appearance and conduct.
- Understand customer service and satisfaction.
- Examples of tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Dusting
- Trashing
- Restroom cleaning
- Wipe down equipment, tools, and machines
- Restock supply cabinet/room
- Transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas
