Job Description
Maintenance Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, scheduling work, and providing guidance and support.
Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess maintenance needs, identify repairs, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Maintenance Planning: Develop maintenance schedules and plans, prioritizing tasks to address immediate needs and preventative maintenance to minimize future issues.
Tenant/Client Interaction: Interact with tenants or clients to receive and address maintenance requests, inquiries, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Vendor Management: Coordinate and oversee external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services, ensuring quality work and cost efficiency.
Budget Management: Assist in the creation and management of maintenance budgets, monitoring expenditures, and controlling costs effectively.
Repair and Maintenance: Perform and/or oversee general property repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and landscaping tasks.
Safety Compliance: Ensure properties meet safety codes and regulations, and implement safety protocols for maintenance tasks.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and expenses for reporting and reference.
Emergency Response: Be available for after-hours emergency maintenance requests and oversee emergency response procedures.
