Job Description
The Material Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing the efficient management of materials within our organization. Responsible for ensuring the availability and timely delivery of materials, the Material Supervisor will work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to meet production demands.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory levels and ensure optimum stock of materials
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials
- Inspect materials to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
- Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify trends and make improvements
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast material needs and plan accordingly
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems
