Job Description
As a Materials Controller, your role will be crucial in managing the flow of materials and inventory within our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that materials are acquired, stored, and distributed effectively, so that operations can run smoothly.
In this role, you will collaborate with various departments to understand their material needs and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery. It will be your responsibility to maintain accurate records of inventory levels, monitor stock levels, and initiate procurement processes when necessary.
Additionally, you will oversee the quality of materials received, conducting inspections and working closely with suppliers to resolve any issues. You will also play a key role in implementing and enforcing inventory management procedures and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
