Job Description
A Mechanical Technician is responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery. They work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that equipment is in optimal working condition and to diagnose and resolve any issues that may arise.
Key responsibilities for this role include conducting routine inspections, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and repairing or replacing faulty components. Additionally, a Mechanical Technician is expected to adhere to safety protocols and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
To succeed as a Mechanical Technician, individuals should have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
