Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Medical Biller with experience using NextGen EMR/EHR software. As a Medical Biller, you will play a critical role in our healthcare organization by ensuring accurate and timely billing for medical services provided to our patients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and verifying patient information, coding procedures and diagnoses, and submitting claims to insurance companies. Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of medical billing processes, including knowledge of NextGen EMR/EHR software, are vital for this role.
You will also be responsible for addressing any billing discrepancies or denials, following up on outstanding claims, and communicating with patients and insurance companies regarding billing inquiries and payment arrangements.
To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of [X] years of experience in medical billing, specifically utilizing NextGen EMR/EHR software. In addition, proficiency in medical coding, knowledge of insurance guidelines, and excellent communication skills are essential.
