Job Description
A Medical Billing Representative is responsible for processing and managing the billing and insurance claims for healthcare services. This role requires strong attention to detail, as the representative must accurately review and verify patient information, treatment codes, and insurance coverage. Additionally, they are responsible for preparing and submitting claims, following up on outstanding payments, and resolving any billing discrepancies or insurance issues.
