Job Description
As a Medical Coding TL at HCM Nexus Consulting Inc., you will have the crucial responsibility of overseeing the medical coding team and ensuring accurate and timely coding of medical procedures for billing purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of medical coders.
- Review and verify the accuracy of medical codes assigned.
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve coding-related issues.
- Stay updated with coding changes and attend training sessions as required.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Medical Coding or related field.
- Certification in medical coding (e.g., AAPC or AHIMA) is preferred.
- Proven experience as a medical coder, with at least 3 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding guidelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines.
