Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Medical Doctor to join our team as a Utilization Reviewer. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and determining the medical necessity and cost effectiveness of medical treatments and procedures for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze medical records to assess the appropriateness and effectiveness of medical services provided
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure that treatments and procedures meet established guidelines and standards
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical guidelines, insurance policies, and industry regulations
- Provide clear and concise recommendations based on medical evidence and guidelines
- Participate in peer reviews and discussions to ensure quality improvement
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and valid license to practice medicine
