Job Description
A Medical Supply Officer is responsible for managing the procurement and distribution of medical supplies within a healthcare facility. They work closely with medical staff, suppliers, and other departments to ensure the availability of essential medical equipment and materials.
The main responsibilities of a Medical Supply Officer include:
- Developing and implementing supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitoring inventory levels and forecasting future demand to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts to obtain the best prices and terms.
- Coordinating with relevant departments to identify their specific medical supply needs.
