Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Resolve delivery and receiving issues by working with the buyers, distribution centers and stores to ensure proper inventory is allocated to stores;
- Ensure that proper inventory levels are allocated to supply new store openings;
- Execute the release of merchandise inventory from the distribution centers to supply stores for retail sales;
- Develop allocation strategies for specific plan levels and execute physical allocations;
- Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned;
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels based on sales trend, forecast and store size;
- Collaborate with the buying team and distribution centers on incoming and outgoing merchandise deals;
- Build strong relationships with DC inbound, DC outbound, stores and District Team Leaders;
- Develop knowledge of store attribute performance and trends through data analysis and field communication.
