Job Description

This position is responsible for managing all food and beverage operations, including the kitchen, restaurant, beverages, and room service. The primary responsibilities include overseeing guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining standards, and achieving or exceeding financial goals. It is essential for the candidate to have a deep understanding of all applicable food and beverage laws and regulations. Additionally, they will be responsible for developing and implementing business plans for the food and beverage department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED); 4 years of work experience in the food and beverage, kitchen, or related professional field.
• OR
• Associate’s degree in hospitality management, hotel and restaurant management, hotel management, business administration, or related field from an accredited university; 2 years of work experience in the food and beverage, kitchen, or related professional field.

Core Job Activities

The core job activities include:

• Developing and maintaining budgets.
• Leading the food and beverage team.
• Ensuring excellent customer service.
• Managing and conducting human resources activities.
• Other responsibilities include complying with company accounting procedures, providing information to supervisors, analyzing information and evaluating results, and ensuring effective departmental communication and information systems.
