An exciting opportunity currently exists to join Nestlé Internal Audit (NIA) team based in either Makati, Philippines. NIA offers talented professionals the opportunity to join a diverse global team and to develop strong technical and leadership skills, which are essential cornerstones of any successful career.

The Program

The Nestlé Internal Audit program, of approximately 4 years, provides a unique opportunity to get to know all functions and business across the globe. Auditors travel up to 9 months a year (local or overseas), according to a fixed calendar. By using proven methodologies, tools and data analytics, auditors provide value added risk assurance and improvement recommendations.

As a Nestlé International Auditor, you will have a unique opportunity to get to know all functions and businesses of the group and you will be dealing with professionals at all levels of the company, from operators in a factory to Executive Vice Presidents.

International Auditor will perform review and assessment through formal audits of Nestlé units including Head Offices, Factories, Distribution Centers, Sales Offices, Shared Service Centers, 3rd party providers.

The experience and knowledge you gain as an Auditor at Nestlé is an excellent springboard for future operational positions in all functions. Many senior leaders in Nestlé started their career in internal audit.

A day in the life of an INTERNAL AUDITOR

• Prepare and execute risk-based audits and review of processes and units
• Evaluate processes and controls to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency
• Review compliance with laws, regulations, contracts, policies, and procedures
• Ensure reliability and integrity of reporting, confidentiality of information, and safeguarding of assets
• Identify and recommend control enhancements and process improvement
• Communicate findings and recommendations for preventive and corrective actions
• Present audit results to stakeholders and agree timelines for recommendation implementation
• Maintain and update audit programs, manuals, and tools

What will make you successful

• University degree in Accounting, Auditing, Business Administration, Economics, International Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Political Science (Law), Food Science or any other equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in auditing with international / accounting firm or large Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) corporation or in any operational experiences e.g., in Finance, Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain or Industrial Performance.
• Master’s Degree and other Professional Certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) preferred.
• Strong overall business acumen. Finance literacy preferred.
• Good MS Office skills. Ability to leverage on data analytics. SAP knowledge preferred
• Business proficiency in English and additional language preferred
• Team player with high degree of flexibility, persistence, curiosity, and openness to other cultures
• Willingness to travel both locally and internationally approximately 70% of the time
