Job Description
The company nurse will be responsible for developing and implementing Health and Safety Programs, assessing health risks, in addition to the prevention and treatment of resultant illness or injury.
Job Description:
- Promote good health among employees by assessing them at regular intervals;
- Keeping health records for every employee;
- Maintaining good communication with company management regarding healthcare and safety;
- Assess the work environment to identify any work hazards and plan intervention programs accordingly;
- Improve the health of employees through ongoing programs and health checks;
- Provide emergency treatment in the workplace;
- Attend seminar workshops on any related health issues;
- Document all employee injuries and illnesses and keep this information confidential;
- Implement health programs for employees;
- Perform health counseling;
- Monitor sick leave of employees;
- Assess pre-employment medical examination results and coordinate status/evaluation with Recruitment; and
- Coordinate any work-related injuries/illness to Safety Officer for an immediate investigation and corrective actions.
Job Qualification:
- Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a Registered Nurse;
- With good interpersonal and people management skills;
- Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive and confidential issues;
- Can work under minimal supervision;
- A warm and caring disposition;
- Experience in the same field is an advantage; and
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
