Job Description
Provides customer and sales support to sales members and their customers to ensure and achieve customer satisfaction at all times.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ensures that customer orders and concerns are administered, in the absence of the Field Sales members.
- Provides price for customer inquiries via phone call/email and generates formal quotation when necessary.
- Generates Order Slips for customer orders.
- Monitors and coordinates delivery details such as payment availability, contact person to receive the goods, exact delivery address, and receiving time.
- Updates salesman on the status of their customer’s order.
- Relays customer concern to respective salesman for immediate action.
- Coordinates appointment of Field Sales members, such as site visitations and product presentations.
Facilitates prompt coordination for internal procedures, in the absence of the Field Sales members.
- Conducts follow-up to Logistics group regarding customer purchases such as the delivery schedule, accounting approvals, and availability of items.
- Coordinates canvassing of local items to Purchasing Department.
- Assists Field Sales members’ itineraries and vehicle schedule.
- Ensures availability of the documents as needed by the Field Sales members during a customer visit. (e.g. SIR for samples, Marketing paraphernalia)
- Ensures sales requirements are met by performing other inter-department coordinations.
Provides accurate monitoring of transactions to meet sales requirements.
- Conducts follow-up to customers regarding the materialization of quotations.
- Monitors bids and projects of the group by gathering significant information on competitors, price of competitors, and if lost, the reason for not acquiring the project.
Other tasks that may be assigned by the superior and/or top management from time to time.
