Job Description
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Hailing from the prominent Filpride Group, Malayan Maritime Services, Inc. (MMSI) was established to handle the growing demand for tugboat services to ensure the safe towing and berthing/unberthing of larger ships. MMSI now caters to a wide variety of commercial ships, docking and undocking in various ports in the Davao Region and beyond.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs engine room watch with the Engineers
- Cleans and maintains the Engine Room
- Helps maintain and repair engine
- Repairs and welds deck and engine parts
- Assists in the management and maintenance of the engine room and machinery
- Performs navigational and anchor watch
- Familiarizes with machinery and equipment
- Other assigned functions by superiors
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in survival craft and rescue boats
- Experience with Z-Peller and Duck-Peller tugboats
- Valid Documents and Trainings
- Analytical, detail-oriented with good communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php21,00.00 per month
