Job Description

The Onboarding Specialist plays an important role in guiding new customers through the initial Onboarding phase of their journey with SupportNinja, a process typically spanning 60 to 90 days. Their primary objective is to deliver an outstanding onboarding experience, ultimately steering clients towards successful activation.
This is a role which requires an organized individual, who is comfortable interfacing with clients, handling multiple projects with both long and short timelines, and facilitating projects involving sales and external client teams.

What does a day in the life as an Onboarding Specialist look like?

  • Must be able to consistently meet project timelines and ensure client expectations are met.
  • Organize Account Setup, implementation, training, and ongoing account review and modification during Onboarding.
  • Track customer progression in the journey in project management software (monday.com).
  • Complete tasks assigned in client’s Customer Success Management tool (Totango).
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to keep them informed about progress, upcoming milestones, and available resources.
  • Track and report on the progress of onboarding activities, including any delays or issues, to the Onboarding Manager.
  • Provide documentation and resources to support users, such as user guides, FAQs, and video tutorials.
  • Hand-off onboarded customers to their assigned CSM or CSM group.

What are the required qualifications for an Onboarding Specialist?

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
  • Must have previous experience as an Onboarding Specialist or other similar roles.
  • Proficient in Google or MS applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be authorized to work in the Philippines.

Having these qualifications are helpful, but not required

  • Experience with using Monday.com and/or Totango.
