Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Ensures the productivity target of the Operations Division are consistently reached or achieved.
- Facilitates pre-vessel arrival preparation meetings with all subordinates to review the incoming vessel’s profile and historical post-operations reports.
- Ensure that docking, undocking and shifting/transfer movement of all vessels calling are accomplished efficiently and on schedule.
- Leads and guides the assigned managers for Berthing, Planning, Vessel & Yard Operations, Gates & Traffic and Engineering in fulfilling their respective roles.
- Efficiently utilizes manpower resource available in the Operations Division through proper work planning.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Management, Economics and other related/equivalent courses.
- With at least 5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, and port operations in a managerial level.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent decision-making and time management skills.
- Flexible and can easily adapt to changes in a working environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 12-hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Davao: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
