Job Description
The Sanitation and Safety Lead oversees sanitation and safety operations to maintain hygiene and regulatory compliance in facility and food environments. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role coordinates cleaning schedules, conducts facility inspections and audits, trains staff in safe practices, and implements corrective actions to address nonconformances.
- Monitor sanitation supplies, document procedures, and promptly report safety incidents.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote employee safety culture.
- Requires 3+ years in facility or food operations, knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and FDA standards, strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work shifts and perform routine audits is required.
