Job Description
We are currently hiring a Patient Authorization Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the process of obtaining patient authorizations for medical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing patient medical records and insurance documentation
- Communicating with patients, doctors, and insurance companies to obtain necessary authorization
- Verifying insurance coverage and coordinating with the billing department
- Maintaining accurate records of authorizations and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Offering support and guidance to patients regarding the authorization process
