Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Visits admitted patients, discusses patient’s coverage and benefits, and issues letter of authorization (LOA).
• Monitors daily patient’s progress chart to understand their needs and medical condition.
• Assists patients during discharge to ensure optimal benefits utilization and prevent excess charges.
• Serves as contact person for LOA-issuers in assigned hospitals.
• Reviews cases, checks necessity for confinement, and coordinates catastrophic cases.
• Prepares various reports related to patient care.
• Visits hospital administrators and doctors to address concerns promptly.
• Performs other assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferably PRC Registered Nurse.
• Minimum one year experience in HMO or insurance company.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Applications.
